‘The Young and The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that even though Sharon Newman [Sharon Case] and Sage Newman [Kelly Sullivan] know the truth about Christian, the baby mama drama is far from over. But is Sage right – is all of this Sharon’s fault? Check out the facts then vote in the Soap Opera Spy POLL.
If you rewind to the start of this mess – back in high school – Nick Newman [Joshua Morrow] and Sandra Anderson [Elizabeth Bogush] are the ones who kicked off this strange plot. But in the past many months, there was lots more to it and enough blame to go around – particularly for Sharon.
The fact is, if Sharon had not tried to hide the miscarriage from Dylan McAvoy [Steve Burton], she never would have been a candidate for Dr A’s plot to give her Sage’s baby. But we also have to consider that Sharon might not even have been part of the original plan.
Perhaps Dr A came to Genoa City to make trouble for Nick and was going to make his life miserable no matter what. Even if Sharon had told Dylan about the miscarriage, Dr Anderson might still have stolen Sage’s baby and could have kept him for herself or given Christian to a stranger.
Plus, is it fair for Sage to hold Sharon accountable for her actions when she was in a fragile mental state? Sharon was off her rocker when she lied to Dylan about the miscarriage. In that full mental meltdown, Sharon was not thinking clearly at all – plus she was drugged by Dr A.
Is Sage being unreasonable? Maybe Sage is being a bit judgy but then again, Sharon was packing to run away with Dylan and Faith Newman [Alyvia Lind] after she got the DNA results. Sharon may or may not have been to blame before, but was clearly in the wrong after she found out the truth.
Sharon refusing to hand Christian over was not a good move and that led to Sage speeding off – but was Sage’s accident seems like it was her own fault. But since Sage was upset about the baby, can you also blame Sharon for the accident too or is that all on Sage?
Y&R spoilers reveal that Sharon will be crushed by guilt over all of this – but is Sharon’s to blame for all of it? Clearly it’s not Sage’s fault – she’s the victim in all of this since she was never involved with Dr Anderson back in the day and didn’t deserve any of this.
